our story

nathalie wilson nathalie was born in miami beach, florida on may 4th. she grew up in a simple little house in north miami for 17 years, moved into a bigger house in miramar and lived there for one year, and finally headed off to baltimore to attend the maryland institute college of art. there, she fine-tuned her skills and received a degree in graphic design. nathalie currently works at two design studios in baltimore: gilah press + design and ladderback design (conveniently located one block from her apartment). |

cory cone cory was born in bremerton, washington on february 1st and was quickly whisked away to newport, rhode island. eventually he would end up in the small town of tiverton. there he grew up with all of his best friends and discovered his love for the arts. in 2003 he bid farewell to his hometown and moved to baltimore, maryland to pursue a degree in fine arts. |
how we met
at the maryland institute college of art during our freshman year.
the engagement
it happened on september 23, 2007. cory proposed to nathalie during the start of their baltimore restaurant week adventure. they had just finished the main course and were waiting on dessert when cory made the night a little sweeter by asking nathalie to marry her, right there at the table! she struggled to hold back her tears while gleefully replying, “yes!” if you want more details, read all about it here.
